Accommodation Examples
We have collected accommodation examples from around the country that illustrate accommodations that have been made for specific employees with disabilities in a variety of occupational settings. These summaries can be used as resources to help identify and provide solutions for more productive employment and more independent daily living. The scenarios may be searched by Work Type (using O-Net groupings), by Functional Limitation, or by Product & Strategy Type (for solutions involving similar technology).
This collection was originally started by the NIDRR-funded Tech Connections project and is now maintained by the Work RERC. Please contact us if you have additional accommodation examples that you would like to see listed in this database.
