State of the Science Conference on Measuring Participation in the Workplace

Summary / Outcome Goals

The primary objective of this project is to establish a national forum for dialogue among researchers, job accommodation specialists, users, and industry representatives to reach a consensus on measures of activity and participation in the workplace, including the use of standardized instruments, identification of needs for new measures and establishment of a research agenda to develop new instruments. The Work RERC SOS conference will be jointly hosted with the RERC on Universal Design in the Built Environment in conjunction with the 2010 ICADI Conference. The Work RERC will also contribute to the UD RERC SOS Conference that will also be jointly hosted at ICADI 2008 as a preconference session.
