Conclusions

• Most common types of recommendations for workplace accommodations involved changes to individual workstations,

  • provision of computer technology & access, specialized tools & furnishings, AAC & communication devices, and modification to the actual station itself.

• Assistive devices or other specialized tools, which often require little assistance for installing, may be implemented quickly and can directly impact job task performance.

• Recommendations that were likely to get implement and rather quickly were perhaps the preferred type of recommendation.
